Speaker Series

The LOWLINC Speaker Series brings in presenters to talk about a wide variety of topics that impact older adults. There is a strong emphasis on health and wellness subjects. We also invite local civic leaders to speak about current issues and we have the occasional light entertainment program. Initiated in 2017, and suspended during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we're pleased to continue this popular LOWLINC service for our members, volunteers and the community at large.

The Speaker Series topics are announced in our local Lake Currents newspaper and are open to all residents of Lake of the Woods. Many programs have been recorded and even occasionally shown on the Lake of the Woods local cable access channel, TV18. They are also available on LOWLINC's YouTube channel and can be accessed below.
